Born in Chicago in 1958, Lurrie Bell is an American blues guitarist and singer. His father was renowned blues harmonica player Carey Bell. Lurrie has shared the stage with legends including Buddy Guy and BB King.
eaming with Billy Branch and Freddie Dixon as the founding members of the Sons of Blues. He won Blues Music Awards in 2014 and 2015 and received a Grammy nomination in 2016. Lurrie has lived the life of a true Bluesman, as a featured sideman, band leader, and solo artist in over 50 recordings.
Not only has Bell been recognized as an exceptionally talented guitarist and musician, his knowledge of different Blues styles, his soulfulness and his musical maturity delivered write-ups in publications such as Rolling Stone and The New York Times.
Lurrie’s current album project includes Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers’ Steve Ferrone on drums and Freddie King’s brother Benny Turner.
Lurrie Bell’s elegant and intense guitar playing and passionate vocals have made him a favorite at clubs and festivals around the world and have earned him a reputation as one of the leading lights in the Blues.

Paco has been thrilling Gainesville audiences for many years. His style is difficult to categorize and uniquely his own. The most recurrent comment you’ll hear is that he plays chops that you don’t hear from anybody else. His vocals have an ease and sincerity which makes him relatable to practically every audience. The Paco Trio is Paco’s electric Blues band, which includes a highly skilled and experienced rhythm section: drummer Rusty Valentine and bassist Jonathon McCravy.
