Cassie Keenum, Rick Randlett, and Friends

If you like your blues with a side of deep southern soul, look no further than Cassie Keenum and Rick Randlett. Raised by a Baptist preacher, Cassie found a home for her rebellious and independent attitude in blues music and shady bars. Rick first fell under the blues spell in the 70s, influenced by artists such as Eric Clapton and other blues-rock pioneers. Cassie and Rick exude an undeniable chemistry as they explore the emotional landscape between saints and sinners. In 2016 they were the NCFBS solo/duo blues challenge winners and were semi-finalists in the 2017 International Blues Challenge in Memphis. Their CD “Hauntings” debuted at #9 on the Contemporary Blues Charts this year. They’ll be playing original songs from their Hauntings CD as well as some new originals that have not yet been released.

This special, one-time show will start with a whisper, an intimate acoustic set, and end with a wallop as they are joined by friends Mitch Rogers (bass) and Donny Weatherford (percussion) to make a rocking full band.
