Bill, Miguel & Friends at Heartwood Soundstage

Bill Irwin moved to Gainesville 9 years ago. He has been a part of the band Impulse Ride from Augusta,GA for 30 years.  The group played on some of the biggest stages like the Whisky A Go-Go and shared the stage with some great artists in Rock like Peter Frampton, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Goo Goo Dolls, LoverBoy, Rick Springfield, Eric Johnson and many many more.  Since moving to Gainesville there have been awesome experiences.  Most notably is the music with friend and Gainesville native Miguel Robles.  There has also been history with the fantastic Gainesville duo- MoonDog.  The music on Sat. May, 11th will focus on these Gainesville friendships and music from these years.  There will be original songs from the new EP Release IRWIN “Ride On” and some great original work by John Stephens and Jon Rhodes of MoonDog.  There will be tasty classic tunes and ones you probably have forgotten about! Joe Lamy from Orlando is making the trip up to really solidify a seasoned group of Gainesville Musicians.
