Captive Eddies Live CD Recording Night 2

Join the marvelous Captive Eddies for this second night of a 2-night engagement at Heartwood. The Eddies shine in live performance, and the goal here is to capture the magic in a live CD. And where else but Heartwood?

We first heard the very young Deva and Leaf Blanchard years ago playing at a health food store in Alachua. Their guitar facility, perfect vocal blend, and intriguing rhythm demanded the listener’s attention even in a bustling store competing with the grinding of juicers. Now seasoned pros and big favorites at the Farm to Family events, these guys have maintained and polished their spark to a brilliant sheen.

Guitarist Jody Moore joined the twin brothers at an early age, honing his chops to a razor edge that weaves into the heart of the song. Drummer Eddie Fields throws down a perfect groove beneath a shifting tableau of blended reggae, world, funk, rock, and Gypsy jazz rhythms that flow effortlessly to your heart, brain, and feet.

All ticket purchases include a free Captive Eddies CD, recorded in Nashville with multi-platinum, Grammy winning producer Brent Truitt and members of Allison Krauss and Robert Plant’s bands
